Fa un parell de setmanes vam provar la classe B85 Fatal1ty de Asrock de gamma baixa / mitjana. Ara és el moment d'anar-nos a la gamma més alta de fabricant taiwanès amb el seu ASRock Z87 Extreme9 / ac.

Es tracta d'una placa base amb format ATX, una estètica molt sòbria amb colors negre més mat, compatibilitat amb Intel Haswell de quarta generació, connexions PCI Express 3.0, ports dual Thunderbolt, connexió dual de xarxa GigaBit i suport per a quatre targetes gràfiques de màxim estatut controlada pel xip PLX.

ASRock Z87 Extreme9 / ac

ASRock ens presenta el seu producte en una gran caixa i robusta. La portada ve inclosa una finestra que ens explica totes les bondats d'aquesta meravellosa placa base. Mentre que la part posterior tenim totes les característiques i especificacions més interessants.

Han passat moltes plaques bases per les meves mans i aquesta porta un dels millors bundles de mercat:

El panell WI-SD és un combo de 4 connexions connexions USB 3.0, lector de targetes SD i connexió Wifi. Realitzem la seva connexió directament per un cable USB 3.0 a la placa base i una alimentació molex de disquetera.

Els dos cables per les antenes wifi, s'han d'instal·lar a la targeta mini-pci que està entre els slots PCI Express.

La ASRock Z87 Extreme9 / ac té format ATX: 30.5 x 24.4 cm. Com és per costum en el fabricant taiwanès manté el seu color PCB de color marró. Acompanyat pels colors negres i plata en la resta de ports d'expansió i dissipadors.

Compatilbe amb fins a 32 GB DDR3 a 2933 mhz amb overclock. Tot i que aquesta placa hem vist tests aconseguint els 3000 mhz amb grans marques com Corsair, G.Skills o ADATA.

Tenim 5 ranures PCI Express de 16x, això ens permet instal·lar fins a quatre targetes gràfiques alhora amb configuració 16x. Això es deu gràcies a l'xip PLX PEX8747 que permet una connexió més potent que les que porta el chipset Z87 de sèrie (8x-8x).

Aquí us deixo les configuracions possibles:

Ja finalment entre els extres tenim targeta de xarxa sense fils de doble banda (2.4 / 5 GHz), connexió bluetooth 4.0, doble connexió USB 3.0 interna i el debug led per identificar error a l'hora.

Purity Sound: es tracta de la combinació de diverses solucions (hardware i software) que ofereixen un so fantàstic, comandat pel xip Realtek ALC1150. Quines són les millores? Integració d'un DAC 115dB SNR, amplificador d'auriculars Premium TI 5532 de 600 ohms, apantallament i aïllament d'interferències.

En els ports del darrere tenim connexió PS / 2, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, dual Thunderbolt, doble gigabit 10/100/1000 Intel, e-sata i targeta de so.

Per comprovar l'estabilitat de l'processador i la placa base, hem realitzat un OC extrem de fins a 4600 mhz amb Prime 95 Custom per refrigeració líquida. La gràfica que hem utilitzat és una Gigabyte GTX780 Rev 2.0. Passem als resultats:

Paraules finals i conclusió

La ASRock Z87 Extreme9 / ac es tracta la placa base TOP gamma de ASROCK. Té un format estàndard ATX: 30.5 x 24.4 cm i el seu disseny peculiar: gris, plata i negre. Estèticament molt elegant i enganxa amb molts components.

El que més m'ha agradat d'aquesta placa base són els seus components: condensadors Premium Gold 100%, 12 fases d'alimentació i Mosfet Dual Stack que ens donaran estabilitat i sobretot un gran marge d'overclock. Un altre dels seus grans punts és la incorporació de l'xip PLX que ens permet connectar fins a un 4 way SLI / CrossFireX amb configuracions 16x. Tot un luxe, tenint en compte que molt poques plaques bases són capaços d'oferir-nos aquest tipus de configuracions.

ASRock no s'oblida de l'emmagatzematge i ens inclou 10 connexions SATA 6.0 Gbp / s. Sis d'elles són de la controladora Intel i les altres quatre de Asmedia. Ens permet configuracions RAID 0, 1, 5 i 10.

Per provar la capacitat de la placa base hem instal·lat una targeta gràfica GTX 780-1250 mhz, un processador i7-4770k i un disc d'estat sòlid de 250 GB a 500 mb (lectura / escriptura). La placa ens ha permès un overclock entre 4500-4700 mhz sense vrdoop. Les sensacions han estat genials. Bon treball!

En definitiva, si aquestes buscant una placa base top gamma, amb un munt d'extres, connexió sense fils, dual gigabit, dual Thunderbolt i un ampli overclock. La ASRock Z87 Extreme9 / ac deu estar entre les escollides. El seu preu és gairebé prohibitiu a l'oscil·lar els 320 €,
